주님의 이름으로 인사드립니다.
아리조나 투바시티에서 원주민들을 섬기는 이영호, 이선옥 선교사입니다.

Greetings in our Lord Jesus Christ.
This is pastor Young & Sun Lee who're serving Native Americans in Tuba City Arizona.
강풍과 비로 얼룩진 아주 변덕스러운 날씨 가운데 봄이 시작되었습니다.
비록 메마른 들판에 만발하는 봄꽃은 없고 불어오는 바람에 굴러다니는 광야의 가시덩굴(불헤드)이 마음을 스산하게 하는 가운데에서도 겨우내 움츠러들었던 뒷마당 고목에 솟아오르는 작은 잎사귀들이 봄을 알려주는군요.
그 와중에 지난 2월 중순에 확보한 인터넷 덕분에 주정부와 국세청 등 정부 관계 법인체 관련업무도 잘 마쳤고 제 한의(침술) 면허 연장교육 및 연례 면허 갱신도 순탄하게 처리했습니다. (하나님께 감사!)
게다가 몽당연필 글씨 같은 성경학습 동영상을 만들어 유투브에 올리기 시작하기도 하였습니다.
그러다보니 3월이 긴 건지 짧은 건지 얼떨결에 시간이 지나간 느낌입니다.
Spring season has begun with somewhat nasty weather with strong wind and rain.
Without any beautiful spring flowers, and even being chilled by those balls of thorny bullhead rolling all over the wilderness as wind trampling the ground, newly sprouting leaves on dry trees in my backyard shouts "it's a spring again."
Because of the internet connection that I have secured in the middle of February, I could take care of some governmental (IRS & State) administrations for our Corporations, and some CEU and renewal of my acupuncture license etc. with ease. (Thank God!)
Furthermore, I began media ministry on youtube even it looks like a clumsy handwriting of a young child.
So, the March had gone so fast momentarily without my awareness of if it were short or long.
(휴~~ 영어 힘들다.ㅠㅠ, my poor English!!)
동영상 사역 개시
인터넷 확보 덕분에 동영상을 제작하여 유투브에 올리기 시작했습니다.
처음 시도하는 작업이라 진땀 흘리며 유투브로 배워가면서 하고 있습니다.
조금이라도 의미가 있는 사역이라면 꾸준히 감당할 수 있도록 많은 응원과 격려 부탁드립니다.

사역 간담회 개최 (4월 20일)
4월 20일 투바시티의 Discipleship Center 교회에서 현지 사역자들과 함께 두 번째 사역 간담회를 개최할 예정입니다.
이 간담회에서는 어린이사역 자료와 교회 사역자 지원을 위한 Study Bible, 글모음, 제자훈련 성경공부 교재 등을 보급할 예정입니다.
이 사역은 참가자 동원도 동원이려니와 문화적 차이 등 여러 가지 난제가 산적한 가운데 기획부터 열매까지 어려움이 많습니다.
이번 사역을 잘 감당하고 앞으로는 좀 더 정기적으로 진행할 수 있는 연결망을 만들 수 있도록 기도해주시기 바랍니다.
Ministry Workshop (April 20)
We will host the Second Ministry Workshop in April 20 at Tuba City Discipleship Center.
We will supply Sunday School materials, Study Bibles, Collection of Articles, discipleship training materials, etc. in this workshop.
There are many hindering factors such as mobilizing participants and a lot more.
Please pray for fruitful workshop and continuing regular gatherings for this purpose.
현장 사역
주일은 Tuba City, 수요일엔 Bitter Springs 사역에 몰두하고자 했습니다만...
장로교회에서의 주일사역은 교회 측 사정인지 혹은 결정인지 2월 하순부터 중지된 상태고요.
(예배 자체가 정상적으로 진행되지 않는 것 같습니다. 그리고 저는 교회 측에 이러저런 주장을 하지 않습니다. 좀 더 발전적인 현장사역 방법을 모색하고 있으니 위하여 기도해주십시오.)
Bitter Springs에서의 수요일 사역(성경공부와 기도회)은 교회 내 초상(初喪)과 코비드 발병으로 두 번 건너뛰고 두 번 시행했습니다.
31일 부활주일에는 Bitter Springs에서 함께 예배드리려고 했었는데 교회 측에서 해맞이 예배로 주일예배를 대체하기로 하여 취소합니다.
Local Ministries
Even though I committed myself to Tuba City on Sundays and Bitter Springs on Wednesdays Prayer/Bible Study...
I didn't have chance to share in the Tuba City Presbyterian Church from the latter part of February. (Seems like that the Sunday service may not be going on regularly. I am not imposing anything to the church. But pursuing any opportunity for regular local ministry.)
We had two Wednesday ministries and skipped twice due to a death of a family member of the church and Covid issue.
I was supposed to worship and share in Bitter Springs in the Easter Sunday but canceled because they will replace the service with sunrising service.
장마당사역 (무료 침치료 & 문서사역)
장마당사역이 계속되고 있습니다.
3월에는 비나 강풍 등으로 날씨가 고르지 않아 한 번 결장했고 네 번 출장하여 침치료 56, 문서사역 8건을 감당했습니다.
날씨가 좋지 않을 때엔 접수까지 버스 안에서 행하고 있습니다.
그 정도면 취소할 수밖에 없었던 천막시절에 비하면 장족의 발전이지요.
Market Ministry with Free Acupuncture & Booklet Ministry
We kept doing the Market Ministry in March.
The rainy and windy weather hindered so we skipped once and served 56 acu-services and 8 ministry in 4 times of ministry.
We do reception in the bus (usually outside) when the weather is bad.
It is such a huge improvement comparing to the Tent era, in which we were forced to cancel the ministry.
단기사역 계획에 관하여
* 올해에는 단기사역을 성경학교 등의 프로그램으로 진행하기 보다는 전 연령대를 대상으로 하는 부흥/각성집회(혹은 음악집회)로 진행하고자 합니다.
* 또한 형편이 허락하시는 대로 건축/수리 관계 사역에 관심을 가져주시기 바랍니다.
* 7월 8-11일(월-목)에는 제가 캘리포니아에서 열리는 한인세계선교대회에 참석할까 하오니 일정조절에 참고해주시기 바랍니다.
* 새해 단기사역을 고려하시거나 계획하시는 분들은 연락 주시기 바랍니다. 어느 계절이든 환영합니다.
* 3월에는 캘리포니아의 한 교회에서 두 분이 여름사역을 위하여 현지답사를 해주셨습니다.
Short-Term Ministry Planning
* We'd like to conduct short-term ministry as Revival/Awakening Rally (or Musical Concert) for all age groups this year rather than just VBS program.
* Please consider CONSTRUCTION/REPAIR MINISTRY.
* I am planning to attend the Korean World Mission Conference which will be held in California during July 8-11, Mon-Thu. So please keep it in mind for your scheduling.
* Please let us know if you plan Short-Term Ministries in this year. Any season welcomed.
* Two people from a church in California visited to check the field for summer ministry.
