미국 원주민 보호구역 아리조나 투바시티에서 원주민들을 섬기는 이영호, 이선옥 선교사입니다.

Greetings in our Lord Jesus Christ.
This is pastor Young & Sun Lee who're serving Native Americans in Tuba City Arizona.
7, 8월이 우기(몬순)라고 하지만 비가 한두 번 오고 대체로 구름이 자주 끼는 날씨입니다.
그래도 그나마 약간의 구름 덕분에 약간의 열 식힘을 누린 7월이 지나갑니다.
그래도 구름 사이로 햇볕은 불방망이의 위력을 남김없이 발휘하네요.
아리조나 광야는 역시 뜨겁습니다.
하지만 여름의 3분의 2는 지나가지 않았나 싶어 안도합니다.
July and August are considered the monsoon season, the weather is often cloudy, with a few of rain, so the heat cooled some degree.
Finally July is passing by.
Still, the sun keep strong and pounding bare ground between the clouds.
But relieved that the two-thirds of summer might be gone now.
목회 사역
7월 한 달간 Bitter Springs Baptist에서 세 번 말씀을 전했습니다.

7월 27일 주일은 현지 교인들이 가족사로 인해 단체로 유타 솔트레익시티로 출타하는 바람에 예배를 생략했고, 저희는 캘리포니아 방문 중 한 교회에서 예배드렸습니다.
로마서 강해가 11장까지 이뤄졌는데 복잡한 교리적 설명 때문인지 성도들이 따라오기 힘든 게 아닌가 싶긴 하네요.
강해설교의 원래 의도는 우리의 부재시에 스스로 강단을 책임질 수 있도록 돕자는 것인데 약간 고민이 되기도 합니다.
7월 23일부터 26일까지는 캘리포니아에서 한 단기사역팀이 방문하여 Kaibeto Nazarene Church와 Tonalea Full Gospel Church, 두 곳에서 여름성경학교를 했습니다.
당 교회는 이곳에서 처음 사역을 했지만 내적 외적으로 공히 많이 기도하며 준비한 때문인지 안팎으로 유익과 덕이 된 사역이 아니었나 싶습니다.
저의 생각과 판단에 앞서 하나님께서 기뻐하셨기를 바랄 뿐입니다.
또한 당 교회의 장래 사역도 하나님께서 이끌어주시기를, 아니, 이미 그러실 것이니 그 뜻을 잘 따를 수 있기를 기도합니다.
PASTORAL MINISTRY
I shared 3 messages in July at Bitter Springs Baptist Church.
I worshiped in a church in California during my short trip to there since the local church members all went out to Salt Lake City Utah due to family marage on July 27.
So far, I finished up to the eleventh chapter of Romans, but seems like that it might not be easy for the local people maybe due to the complicated apologetic argument of Paul on the gospel.
I am concerned for them because my original intention of expository sharing is to help them to manage the pulpit themselves in my absence.

From July 23 to 26, a short-term ministry team from California did VBS in Kaibeto Nazarene Church and Tonalea Full Gospel Church.
It was first for them here but did their best maybe due to their preparation in prayer.
Rather than my own evaluation and praise, may God Himself be pleased and honored.
Also praying that God may lead them further in future, oh no, since should God already be with them so they might be follow the divine guidance faithfully.

7월 한 달간 정기 장마당 네 번, Kaibeto 단기선교팀에 침사역 지원 출장해서 침치료 98회, 문서선교 68건을 감당했습니다.

MARKET MINISTRY with Free Acupuncture and Booklet Ministry

이제 웬만히 일반적인 주제들이 대체로 취급되지 않았나 싶습니다.
